dnsmasq as dns secondary

Isn't it dangerous to use dnsmasq as a dns slave?
I registered in the settings
no-resolv
server=10.0.0.7

Where 10.0.0.7 is DNS master
As far as I understand, when requesting the site address, it is taken from the cache, and if not, it is taken on the server specified in the config, after which it is stored in the cache.
Actually a question if dns master is disconnected whether the information on dns secondary will be given without problems?
And if dnsmasq also reboots?
Maybe there are other tools that will work better? Install BIND and set up synchronization?

Dnsmasq is not made for this.
Set BIND, if the zones will not change often, you can just copy the configs, and if you change something often, do master/slave www.zytrax.com/books/dns/ch4/#slave
