DNS SSL certificate from Yandex?

Hello!
I may be wrong in some definitions, sorry. A bit out of my area.
My father-in-law asked me to add an SSL certificate to his domain. I wrote to RU-center, where they explained to me that his domain was delegated to DNS servers from Yandex:

dns1.yandex.net.
dns2.yandex.net

The problem is that if you delegate the domain to the hoster's DNS servers, then the site, if I understand everything correctly, will fall. And he is very worried about his position in the search engines. I have no idea who delegated the domain to Yandex, but the fact remains.
The question is next.
How to add a TXT record for Yandex DNS?
Thanks a lot!

You indicated webpack in the tags, why are you uploading via galp then?
Google "react webpack 4 setup".

As already mentioned, you can set the desired TXT record in the Yandex.PDD panel. Clicking on the link "and delegated to Yandex" will lead to the required form =)
A small life hack: if you don't know which Yandex account the domain is attached to, you can find out like this:
show something like:
So, you need to look for the password from the mail [email protected];)

Login to pdd.yandex.ru - "DNS editor" under the account of the one who added the domain to Yandex, and add a TXT record.
“If you delegate the domain to the hoster’s DNS servers” and register all the same IP addresses of the site there, then nothing will fall. DNS servers are just switches that indicate which IP to contact if there is a site name. You go to him with the question “I want www site ru” - and he answered “knock at 12.34.56.78”. This task can be handled by both the Yandex DNS server and the hosting provider, as well as any others.

1. Keep in mind that if you unlink (separate) a domain from Yandex, then the mail of this domain, if any, will also be unlinked and stop working, as well as other services, services (servers) specified in DNS. So ask your father-in-law if he or anyone else uses [email protected] mail. If you use it, then in your case, the technically easiest option would be to find access to the account specified, as 2 said. Adding a certificate to the site is not an easy task (for you personally, based on your question), since you will need to register redirects in on the web server itself, put in robots.txt (if it is used) the host directive: https://your-domain.com. Ilya Myasin said in dig your-domain.com soa +short. If you still can't find access, then make sure you have all current DNS records. You will have to register them on the new DNS (at the host, for example).
In Yandex webmaster, in the "move" panel of the site, set https (in Google, respectively, too). And now the most important thing, since the father-in-law is worried about the positions, then yes, moving to https can temporarily change the ranking.
In general, if you do not properly redirect all pages from http to https, then the site will really leave the search. So take it very seriously. Learn how to move your site to https. Learn what needs to be done directly on your site's engine, on your site's web server, in the site control panels in search engines (I'm talking about Yandex webmaster and Google webmaster, if used, of course).
