DNS record to ping a zone?

Raised the PowerDns server on Linux, now I want to make it so that when pinging just the name of the zone, for example, main.local and when main.local.main.local, the ip dns server is issued.
Added an ns entry but it doesn't work, how to make it like a Windows domain controller pinged by itself?

an A-record is needed, but instead of the name dog @
This record will resolve the main.local zone itself.
As for main.local.main.local (what the hell, though), add an A-record for the main.local name
