DNS - IPv4 address, what happens if you change it?
I have been familiar with computers for about 10 years and today allegedly programmers from the GTA SAMP server argued with me that if you change the dns address to any in IPv4, then all errors in the samp servers will go away ... but remembering my cases with cs 1.6 , when I decided to change the dns address .. they ended in failure, the Internet constantly left, that the PC had to return to the rollback point, that is, a day earlier, because even when returning back, nothing happened. Are the "GTA SAMP programmers" right to touch the DNS address? Although I explained to them that it is easier to change the IP address to correct these errors. And the errors were related to the connection to the main server.

Their server, they know better. If the server is written in such a way that it depends heavily on DNS, they may be right.
Or maybe their illegal server is simply banned everywhere at the request of RockStar, and only certain DNS servers work with them. :)
Oh, and selective, don't understand that ... Change the domain name of the server is meant and add / change A-records? Or ip dns addresses of servers to which the server addresses?
In any case, it sounds strange, in my practice (note it is not so big, I may not know something) if you add an entry for a different name, it will quickly pull itself into the world and the server will be normally visible.
There can be many reasons for the heading, can you describe the issue more specifically?
