DNS entries by mask?

We are looking for a solution that allows you to create records by mask: mask
example: sub-*.domain.com, app-*.domain.com
I.e. when accessing sub-01.domain.com or sub-55.domain.com, one value was given, for app-01.domain.com, another.

bind/named can automatically fill in zones based on templates, you can read the documentation.
You can use perl / sed / awk scripts, you can use it in conjunction with mysql / postgres.
