Django. Logging errors to the database?

"Django provides one log handler in addition to those provided by the Python logging module: AdminEmailHandler" from the documentation.
Is there a third party django module that allows you to write error logs to the database?
I read about sentry, but I would like something more lightweight, with an interface in django itself, and not running a separate server.
