The entire stage of video delivery to the consumer can be divided into Contribution and Distribution. Distribution is divided in turn into primary and secondary. What is the difference and what is the essence of such a distinction?

Where exactly did you see such a classification?
In English-language sources I meet only two terms - Acquisition and Distribution, i.e. creation and distribution respectively. Within each stage, everything depends on the type of content.
