Displaying useful information on a TV-panel?

Tell me, plz, habrapiple - who came across and implemented something like that?
Task:
- periodic display of useful information on the TV-panel in the company's kitchen (announcements, news, statistics, weather).
While I see solutions:
- Panel + Raspberry Pi, Chromecast ...?
- Organize a streaming server?
That is, the question is how to automate the process and what equipment is best to use for such a task ...
Ideally: some National Geo videos are broadcast, sometimes interspersed with useful ads. If possible, management is done remotely (browser, remote access, ftp...etc.).

Install a regular smart TV that will show the site with the desired content.

To use Chromecast in this case, you need to either write your own application, or cast an open tab from an open Google Chrome. And in the tab itself, you can already change the content at least through JavaScript.
