Displaying a list of author's articles under the author's biography?

Hello. There is a post page with a list of authors. When you click on the author's link, there should be a short biography and under it a list of the author's articles. Articles are added by one user. What is the best way to implement such functionality? create a separate category for each author? but how then to display a brief description of the author above the articles? Or do everything on tags?
