Disable switching to new space in Mac OS X Lion?

You open, for example, iTunes, and while it is loading, you switch to Safari. You look at sites for yourself, and at some point the tuna is loaded, and the system switches you to the space with iTunes. Have to switch back to space with Safari.
How to disable this annoying feature, does anyone know?

In System Preferences, the idea is to disable the checkbox "When switching to an application, switch to a space with open windows for the application".
