Did the encoding go wrong or what went wrong?

I don’t remember after what, but there was some kind of trouble with the fonts.
I can not figure out how to restore the normal display now. Who will tell? :)

in the output of
cat /proc/PID_application/environ
look at what LANG=...
usually LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8
