Did I get Windows Hello?
There is a working laptop Dell Inspiron 5748, he is two years old. On it - Win10 Pro x64 with all updates. He is in the domain. About a month ago I reinstalled the operating system on it. Before that, there was also Win10 Pro x64.
When I leave my laptop, I lock it with Win+L. And now, after reinstalling the system, every time I return to the laptop, sit down at it, or just stand next to it from the side of the screen, then after about a couple of seconds the screen is unlocked, and there is an attempt to enter the account, but ends in failure.
Did I get Windows Hello? After all, there should be a special camera, but I have a regular webcam. There is no item with Windows Hello in the settings. No additional utilities from Dell are installed, the system is installed from scratch. I specifically removed the laptop from the domain (Server 2012, for obvious reasons, does not know how to regulate the operation of Windows Hello with group policies) - all the same, the Windows Hello settings are not available, that is, it turns out that the camera does not support this functionality.
Nothing suspicious hangs in autoload, I am absolutely sure that there are no viruses on the computer either.
Actually, what the hell?
