Greetings. I continue the epic with setting up thick clients, this time the DNS zones are not updated in any way, so that resolving by host on the network would work.
With ordinary computers, everything is ok, they resolve, update, but thick clients do not.
I set the host name for the client in lts.conf
in /var/lib/dhcp/dhcpd.leases

But no way. If it is logical to think - when you turn on the network card for PXE boot, it requests an IP address, and DHCP gives it out, but at this moment there is still no host name, so there is nothing to update. Only create an init script with nsupdate.
