Development for iOS and android on html, css, js. Is there any reason?

Good day, friends. The other day I thought about making applications for ios, but, unfortunately, I am absolutely not familiar with objective-c. I'm more into front-end development, respectively, and knowledge of the relevant: html, css, js with ajax requests and libraries, a little ruby. After reading , I found phonegap.com and some other platforms. The question is, does it make sense to make applications using something like fongap, when the goal is to release the app to a large production (company orders, toys, your own projects)? Will there be any brakes in the work, and how much will the application be slower in general, comparing with native objective-c?
Thanks in advance.

If you write a business application, a client for an apish where there is no interactive, then it's normal.
If you write some kind of application for ordinary people, if there is something highly interactive in it, then doing this business adequately will be difficult. There will be all kinds of animations, work with touch events (although there are options to use native gestures) ... There are things like steroids.js on which you can do simple aps and they will even look pretty cute. But by and large, it all depends on the application.
If you are going to do for one platform, then it will be easier to master objective-c, because under phonegap, one application will take you at least the same amount of time or even more. Yes, and taking into account all those tools that are available for iOS, there will be no particular problem, but there will be an invaluable experience.
