Design tool?

Hello.
I would like to find a small, simple tool for software design. In general, design is even loudly said. I would just like to find a replacement for the eternal and reliable, but obsolete tool: an A4 piece of paper with a pen. But to no frills. No standards, UML, etc. are needed. Or in the minimum version, so as not to complicate the work. I just painted an approximate scheme of work, saved it, and you're done. In order not to bathe with the choice of a suitable figure for the scheme, etc. For myself, well, and a maximum of 2-3 more colleagues who will understand you.
I worked with Enterprise Architect (like I wrote it right) - just a corporate monster. I tried dia - not that either. I don’t want to draw in block diagrams, the interface kills with clumsiness. Heard about visio but haven't tried it yet.
What do you advise? Who uses what?

I also recently got this question. So I bought myself a board for the wall and 3 multi-colored markers. Very cool stuff! It even allows you to draw figures of any shape, does not fall, does not eat resources and generally works without a computer.

I advise you to try Visio: this is a simple tool - sketch out standard controls and icons - and you're done; good thing.

Try Visual Paradigm for UML , it may seem too fancy, but it's a pleasure to draw diagrams in it (IMHO - the most convenient drawing tool I've tried).
Also look in the direction of ConceptDraw (essentially the same Visio).

For prototyping user interfaces, Microsoft now offers Sketch Flow (part of the Expression Blend package). Read more here: habrahabr.ru/blogs/silverlight/76263
