What literature to read on Android application architecture?

I’m starting to study Android development, I ran into a problem that the application turns out to be a “mess” with which you can’t figure it out a month after creation, it’s difficult to expand the functionality because the architecture is not good for anything (more precisely, it’s completely absent). Please tell me the literature on the initial creation of the application architecture so that it can be easier to maintain and develop, preferably in relation to Android development.
