Description of the ps utility in FreeBSD (incomplete man page)?

Good afternoon!
What is:
uname -a
8.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE
When you run ps -a and ps -A, the output is different.
man ps gives a description of the command and options, but the -A option is missing
Do I have old man pages?

This gave out on OS X:

-A Display information about other users' processes, including those without controlling terminals.

-a Display information about other users' processes as well as your own. This will skip any processes which do not have a controlling terminal, unless the -x option is also specified.

@Desem

ps -a gives exactly the same as just ps

The question is more philosophical than technical, why is there no description of the key and who is to blame and what should be done to make it appear?
