Which OS to choose on VDS, Debian vs FreeBSD?
Good evening, tell me, please, what is more reasonable to install on the VDS, the purpose of which is the web server?
A set of software is known in advance:
1) Nginx
2) php-fpm
3) mysql
4) eAccelerator
5) Memcache
Also interested in your opinion about the correctness of the selected software. The project is focused on medical state. institutions.

I am a former fryer, retrained on debian. And I would install debian.
It's easier in terms of cooking. Safety regarding fryahi is a moot point.
In general, put what is closer to you.
If you can make a bunch of nginx and php-fpm, then the question about the OS is not relevant. If your level of knowledge is not high, then I recommend looking towards nginx with apache+php. This is where Debian comes to the rescue.
And yet, does anyone have any criticism of the case? Here the first answer was about security, but briefly. I would like to get a more detailed answer at least one.
Any production Linux, of which now there are only two centos and ubuntu
in fryaha, has not been finished with the package manager, so I don’t see any reason to consider it at all.
Debian always runs out of support, which is generally infuriating and is not allowed on a production server.
