Description of tasks performed by servers, what to do?

There are n-th number of servers, each of them has n-th amount of software. The question is what to keep records according to the description, which server, what does it do, how often, etc. I really want to see this application in the web interface, with authorization. As I see this software solution - I went to the web interface, entered the login password, a list of entries with a search was displayed. I opened the record, there is the name of the server and its features.

1. Stop petting your servers. Seriously. If you have separate servers doing separate tasks, then your infrastructure is rather poorly organized
