I decided to send news and promotions to users of my site and got a site ban on the hosting for 10 minutes, until I clarified that I do not send spam, but just want to bring information to my users. It turned out that the hosting has a limit of 100 letters per hour. I asked this question, is it possible to send emails to your user base on Denwer'e PHP? What are the downsides to this?

No, you can’t send out mailings in Denver using the mail(...) function, there is a stub on Denver, all letters sent will be saved in a folder like tmp/
For proper mailing, use the ready-made best libraries swiftmailer or phpmailer, which normally generate headers and a letter.
+ use SMTP protocol for sending.
