Demand for .Net(C#) on foreign freelance exchanges?

Good afternoon!
In the future, I plan to do freelance work on foreign exchanges, but after looking at odesk, for example, I was convinced that the bulk of orders are web. At the moment I have experience in .Net, but in the field of desktop application development, and to be honest, I don’t want to get into the web at all (I don’t like layout, etc.), although I understand ASP.NET is in demand.
How much is desktop development in demand on such exchanges, or is it still better to start learning RoR, JavaScript in parallel?
In the area of client development on the web does not pull at all ...
thanks

You can play around with Xamarin. I won’t say about the demand, but in principle the customer is pleased with “one native code for all platforms”, until they understand that a Xamarin developer is needed to support this application :)

Demanded.

C# is not next to layout. Your task is data calculation, fetching, caching, generation and id

It is worth mastering Xamarin, there are orders for mobile applications.
