Soon the 2nd course is coming in my specialty Computer Engineering and Software, and the whole 2nd course will be according to the pascal -> delphi plan. Delphi bothers me because it doesn't make sense in 2016. Or is it just an illusion?

Delphi is needed only for training in commercial development, there is very little of it.
