DELL XPS15 9550 won't start - how to start?
DELL XPS15 9550. Everything worked. Been idle for a couple of months. Doesn't start.
The battery is new (recently changed after the regular one swelled up). The charge is full.
If you turn it on, the LEDs of the power button are lit, the keyboard backlight - when you press the keys, the display is dark, the coolers do not rotate. When you turn off by long pressing the power button, the coolers start for a short time, then it turns off.
When you start a regular monitor test (turn on with the D key pressed), the test passes, i.e. The problem is not the lack of video.
On the recommendation of victims of a similar problem (which, it turns out, is not a single one), the following actions were taken:
- the main battery
was disconnected - the CMOS battery was disconnected
- pressing and holding the laptop power button for 20 seconds There is
no result, the problem persists.
This, according to reviews, helped someone (someone was helped by simply holding the power button), but it didn’t help me.
Any advice from those who have experienced the problem?

Hello! How did you solve the problem?
I have everything exactly like you, the laptop lay, it does not turn on.
I disassembled, knocked down the BIOS, it did not help, I measured the voltage on the BIOS battery, 2.2 shows out of 3.
The suspicion that it is worth monitoring this battery and at low voltage does not allow it to be turned on. I removed the protective black film from the battery - it turned out that this is a "rechargable" battery, now I'm charging it, I think if I charge it, it will start. The main thing is that the bios does not fly off.
Updated:
It was not possible to charge it, apparently it died completely. I threw a CR2032 from the computer by simply throwing the wires, it does not fit into the case. Laptop fired up and everything works. It is necessary to buy a new marking ML1220.
I think the issue is over.
