Delivery from Germany to Russia?

Hello!
I asked my relatives to buy a phone in Germany (Hannover), please tell me, what is the safest and fastest way to send it to me in Russia (Orenburg)?
Discussions on the Internet on the subject of DHL, EMS did not give any unambiguous answers. Perhaps there are some alternatives?

Gentlemen, do you advise this from personal experience? Specify then that there is DHL Packet (I could be wrong) - which is regular mail and comes to the post office in Russia.
And there is DHL Express, which is a courier company with all the ensuing consequences, and with a high probability in Russia will take out the brain along with customs. Not to mention the fact that they should not accept shipment to an individual at all.

+100 for DHL, no options. There is also a Russian delivery service bpd-express.de/ They deliver directly to your home.

Ordinary DHL in Russia will become ordinary Russian Post. I recommend sending via EMS Express (pros: fast, with tracking, with insurance). Yes, I know that in Russia it will become the Russian Post, but not the usual one - see the pluses above. If the phone is cheaper than €1000, then there will be no problems with customs. I advise on my own experience (but I mainly order in the US and Britain).

There is another point - the cost of the phone.
For individuals, sending through postal companies (EMS) worth up to 10,000 rubles - customs clearance is not required. If more, it will need to be cleared.
If sending via courier services (DHL, UPS, etc.) the cost is up to 5,000 rubles. If more - customs clearance is needed.
I recommend using EMS, but it may take a little longer, but there will be no problems with customs.
If you decide to use courier services, then it is better to call them in advance and clarify information on international parcels.
For example, I recently had a case when they could not send me to Russia via DHL. This service no longer sends to physicists, only to legal entities.

The cheapest option: of course, hand over the phone to someone. There are no customs clearance :) needed.

Correct me if I'm wrong: in Germany, a phone without a contract is more expensive than in Moscow.
