Debian or Windows Server 2012 for game servers?

I have a problem, please help me to make a decision.
There is a dedicated server on which you need to run a couple of game servers + a website , which operating system should I choose Linux or Windows Server ? Does the fact that the game server is launched via WINE affect the performance of the server under Debian ? Wine is not installed on a 64-bit system.
