Debian hanging on boot (cleaning up temporary files)?
Help me to understand.
At some point, the server stopped processing MySQL queries, returning the error "ERROR 1 (HY000): Can't create/write to file '/tmp/"
By googling, it was found out that during the operation / tmp overflowed. Through the same googling, it was found out that in order to clear / tmp it is enough to restart the server. That's what I did...
Now, when booting up, the system hangs trying to clear /tmp.
[...] Cleaning up temporary files...
The situation is complicated by the fact that the VDS server is located at the nic.ru host, I get control only at the initial stage of loading, GRUB menu. As far as I understand, using live distributions will not work.
How to get out of the situation and "save" the car?
As a last resort, at least merge the files (as it usually happens, there are no backup files :((( )
