DDoS protection recaptcha v2?

How to protect your website from DDoS recaptcha.
Sounds weird. But I noticed that if an attacker sends requests with data and captcha to the php script and the server constantly sends a request to Google to check the captcha, then the server cpu will be packed to capacity.
