Datamatrix generation via libdmtx, delimiter not working?

Hello, I read the specification https://www.gs1.org/docs/barcodes/GS1_DataMatrix_G...
And the library manual.
I make a test command

echo -n 01123456789012321123sdff12ds↔2401234↔10123 | dmtxwrite > ~/image.jpg

As I understand it, the delimiter was supposed to hide application indicators like 10 or 240 for scanning (and this moment is actually required), but this did not happen, it was output in the same way as it was transmitted.
Can anyone come across a similar one and be able to tell me what I did wrong in the above command (maybe it's worth changing libdmtx and what)? Thank you!
