Current web design books?

I am planning to do web design. At the moment, I only know Photoshop, but I would like to understand the principles of building website design. I want to decide on the choice of literature for study. Those books that are on sale were published 6-8 years ago, can the information in them be considered relevant?

SmashingBook 5. The Smashing Magazine website is always good at covering current trends and they publish edited collections of articles as separate books. The book Hardboiled Web Design by Andy Clark is also very good.

Read Fundamentals of Web Design by Rafal Tomal. Many questions will be cleared up.
