Creating flyers with unique promo codes - creating poppies for printing
There was a need to distribute 100 promo codes for services through A5 flyers.
The task is to insert 100 unique promo codes generated (in a separate system) into 100 layouts for printing, you need to solve the problem using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
I ask you to suggest a solution or an idea for solving this problem so as not to manually copy-paste all promo codes.

For 100 flyers, it might be easier to copy-paste.
Illustrator and Photoshop do not work with variable data.
Photoshop 100%, I won’t answer for Illustrator CS5, but before it was extremely inconvenient.
There are several convenient options, but they are all paid (if you do not download broken versions):
PrintShop Mail is a good program, convenient and simple. Upload layout + text file with codes and get a 100 page PDF as output.
Plugin for Adobe PDF Pro - Quite Imposing Plus. It's also easy to learn.
And yet - Corel Draw - how I don’t like it, but there is a built-in function for working with variable data.
There is another option. Send me a flyer layout and a file with codes, I will send you a PDF back. It’s not difficult for me, but if this is a one-time need, you don’t need to waste time studying the topic ...
This is simply done using InDesign.
You create a layout for 100 pages, put a flyer image on the master page, adjust the fields so that they limit the rectangle for the promotional code. On the first page, you create a text frame, throw promotional codes into it (each line is a separate code), adjust the font to your liking, but so that only one promotional code is visible. You click on the plus sign on the frame, and on the second page, while holding the shift, click once. InDesign will spread promotional codes on all pages.
I solved a similar problem in Photoshop. It has the ability to work with scripting languages, in particular with JavaScript. Read the manual, it's simple.
I wonder how all sorts of lottery tickets are printed in thousands of copies? Not a copypasta.
