Creating a cartoon in a game engine, does it make sense?

Dear forum users, I need your help and an experienced look at my idea. I want to make a cartoon in real time (The real-time engine allows the project to be implemented simultaneously with the start of development. You can change the parameters of characters, lighting, camera, etc. and evaluate the changes without wasting time rendering.). That is, create a scene, for example, a forest with a path in the unity terrain editor or anrial. Set up a character, make an animation and, for example, a movement script. Make a background and reproduce the previously written task (script) for the actor, and shoot with a camera from different angles .. Then rivet pieces of fragments, music, editing and that's it. What do you think or maybe there are other engines for this. It seems to me a very interesting way. I ask for the most detailed answer, advice. Thanks in advance.

YES! Moreover, there are camera assets for recording just such a thing in the Unity store.
If everything is of high quality - I'm all for it and as a bonus: you can always turn a cartoon into a game!

There is some sense, but then there are programs like Blender, which are both a 3D design program, as well as a kind of game engine.
