Create-react-app need to extend eslint?

Question for those using create-react-app or create-react-app --template typescript: are you extending the eslint config or are you satisfied with what is already in create-react-app?

I got confused, I added configs that I like, but it really annoys me that lint errors are displayed in different places: the cra config displays everything in the terminal and my rules in the "problems" tab (I use vscode, with the eslint plugin). and this diversity is very infuriating, inconvenient to look back and forth all the time.

How do you deal with this issue, if at all?
