CPU load at 300%?

The situation is very strange and funny (rather absurd) at the same time :) Actually, Linux mint 19 began to hang. I look at top, and there:

cinnamon loads percents, as far as I understand, by 330% on average. What is the problem, I don't understand. The last time I ran linux a long time ago, I don’t remember anymore, it seems like I installed something. But what could be causing it? I will be very grateful for your help

This usually indicates a problem with the video drivers, causing the graphics to render without hardware acceleration.
