Correct documentation of the logo and CI in general. How?
Greetings,
at work, the task suddenly arose to document the logo and all other identities in a quality manner, following the example of large companies.
And since I have never done this, there are problems how to describe. The logo is based on a standard free font, but slightly customized: the corners are rounded, in some places other values are changed.
Is it necessary to describe in detail each point, with vultures, angles, directions, percentages, etc., etc.
In general, if someone shares links to the "correct", competent documentation of the logo and the rest of the identity in general, I would be grateful. It doesn't matter, yours, not yours, the language too, the main thing is not to be exotic. )

Ask yourself or anyone – why document the logo and identity? How will this documentation be used?
Typically, a brand book is needed so that the brand can then be used on various media without much involvement of designers. The document describes all kinds of security zones, coloring options, sizes, that is, how to use the logo correctly.
Is it necessary to describe in detail each point, with vultures, angles, directions, percentages, etc., etc. This documentation would be useful for other designers to understand how the corporate identity came about and how to develop it. It is worth doing if the task is worth such a plan.
