Copy-paste articles from Habra
A few months ago, I published an article on Habré with a beating heart in CSS3 . IMHO she found success (rating +52). Later, I began to notice links to this article on many other sites, then I saw many sites that published my article on other resources, but at the same time gave a link to the original. And recently I saw this: roughly speaking, my article was rewritten (they simply removed the habraslang) and they publish it on their own behalf. I do not write links to these resources so as not to promote my enemies.
Based on this, several quite logical questions arise:
1. Is it legal to publish articles on other resources and provide a link to the original?
2. Is it legal to publish my article on my own behalf without crediting the author?
3. Is there any way to deal with such “writers”?

For me, this question is oh so relevant, although it is related to my articles outside of Habr.
More than once I encountered all the manifestations that you write about in your question-topic.
I tried to fight with site administrators (for some reason they liked to steal Ukrainian sites from me, and quite solid and well-known ones at that). I came across outright rudeness and a “message” in Ukrainian. However, part of the copy-paste was nevertheless removed, part of it is stolen and hangs.
I decided to write the text of the article in such a way as to make life as difficult as possible for someone who tries to “rewrite” my article by removing only a couple of phrases from it. I try to write more of my thoughts, include turns of speech invented by me, constantly refer to my opinion, to my experience (I tried to press this button, I used my photos, but I didn’t understand why this tool is needed, and so on). I understand that it becomes more difficult to read the article, but it is necessary. There was less stealing.
I also came up with this trick: suppose, somewhere in the middle of the article, it talks about some kind of complex technical technique for working with a particular program. In the middle of the paragraph, I weave a playful statement, my judgment, just a little joke. Well... for example, like this: this tool allows you to highlight only the color in the photo that matches the skin tones - (here you can insert a phrase about the short skirts of beautiful girls who appear on the street with spring and link them with skin tones) :-) Meaning in that this phrase is quite difficult to detect with a cursory review of the article. And if someone finds it, then he seriously intends to rewrite your article, it is already impossible to fight it!
So we write articles again and again, making them better, more interesting and more useful! We are working on the Russian language along the way. And the result will come, I'm sure!
Good luck!
So what? I don't see the root of the problem.
Your article was not stolen, but changed. You can always prove, whenever you want, that you published it first.
Yesterday, because of this topic, I also climbed to see the results and was a little surprised)) Compare this and this . At first he got angry, then he smiled, because such people have enough patience to remake the article for themselves))
