Convenient audio editor for Linux?

Why such a vacuum? Well, I understand that Linux is not for multimedia, but over the years of the existence of the OS, I can’t believe that not a single normal tool has appeared. I do not consider Audacity, it is incredibly inconvenient (I speak as a long-time user of professional software like Ableton). The editor is needed for, funny to say, cutting ringtones. Maybe there is something that I missed? There are only dinosaurs in Google, 20 and 10 years ago.
