Convenience for a small office, what programs?
Tell me what programs and services can be deployed on the server, so that:
chat for communication,
news (who did what),
planning (what are the tasks and how much time and in what status),
articles (alya you need to configure this so that you don’t ask every time why it doesn’t work),
well, it’s clear that git should also appear here,
I would like it all to be connected,
but !!! a server on linux is required, programs must be either free or opensource (it's not a problem to collect from source).
From afar, there are still 3 of us (and still on the lot), we communicate in real or by mail, develop cross-platform programs. Therefore, all sorts of dockers are not needed, and ansible too. This is all solved by a script with qmake flags.
I’ll add it, because many don’t understand:
1. Wiki is required, the simplest (I don’t know about you, but we don’t like it when a service engineer calls and sorts out a problem with you from 2 hours, instead of programming you are doing ... nonsense),
from which we were furious, the program does not start on Windows, the problem is in postgresql, but you understand this at the end,
but you must first check the connection, if not, install postgri and then dump the dll into our program folder, this is an example.
That's why I'm asking what thread is an interesting and free FAQ.
2. Tasks, here, too, need to be distributed. We received a lot of requests from clients for improvement. And of course, we will do them in some form, but we need to understand what is how much in time, what is the main one, and who will take what (because we have someone who loves to tinker with the base and someone with graphics to bring beauty).
3. And I would also like the news separately, so that we dump everything in the compartment, and it is stored with us, and the service engineer comes in and sees: this program is like this, this program is like that, and the base is like that.
Git is only as a bundle with the above, if it is by itself, then we have it.
ps
And the question is that everything is relevant ^)
how the chat came up rocket.chat
as a redmina problem collector is not very clear, but it’s not very easy to breed excels
like a wiki regular forum, it’s inconvenient but better than nothing

chat for communicationany to your taste, sometimes built into CRM
news (who did what),there is also a CRM for this, or any CMS of the "corporate portal" format
planning (what are the tasks and how much time and in what status),RedMine and a host of other CRMs, such as "Bitrix-24" (there is also a chat, and news, etc. crap)
articles (alya you need to set it up so that you don’t have to ask every time why it doesn’t work),"Wiki" is available in almost any CRM, for example, in GitLab.
well, it’s clear that git should also appear here,GitLab
I would like it all to be connected,RedMine + Git, GitLab, MantisBT and a host of other similar free services are perfectly interconnected in one way or another. An absolutely full-fledged complex, as you want, for free - does not yet exist.
An extremely convenient thing is Yandex corporate mail, there are personal domain mailboxes and general contacts and xmpp chat. We have already done 2.0. but what's new is not even vkurse yet.
From the soft side of thunderbird (mail\chat\calendar\contacts\rss).
Put any GIT convenient, but it's still much better to use online ones, for example, bitbucket (up to 5 users for free).
Any wiki \ crm, etc. as a rule, they are generally unnecessary and it is unlikely that anyone will use them, it will only be possible to force them under a stick. And besides, all this will eventually result in a constant doping of these services instead of the actual work.
It is better to leave your server to yourself for development under dockers, etc. and important things like chat\mail\calendars\contacts\git are much more convenient and reliable to entrust to the giant just so that it doesn't die and fall at the right moment.
The only thing you can do is raise your little asterisk, drive a multiphone from a megaphone into it. The profit will be from the answering machine \ greetings \ call recording \ informant and most importantly, in order to parallelize the incoming call for everyone. Still not unimportant, a single number is multi-line and this will exclude the moment that some customer suddenly wants to ask something and calls at 3 a.m. (usually those who do not have their own PBX suffer from such calls because they use personal phones and then start calling them) .
