Question about moving existing content to a new page with a different URL. There will be a redirect anyway. Is it better to leave existing or write new unique content? Has anyone had a similar experience? Don't want to lose ground

new unique content is always better if it has the same keywords, etc. But when redirecting to a page with the same content, positions should not fall
