Content Scripts is not allowed to embed code on chrome pages, how to fix it?

I try Content Scripts for sites and noticed that if you connect some local page, for example chrome://bookmarks/, then the extension is disabled when you update it, and of course the code does not work, maybe a different api is needed for such pages? or what can be done?

But there’s no way to fix it, although it’s nonsense, but this is an absolutely standard approach, the nature of the average person is such that since there is a special API for bookmarks, it means that access to chrome://bookmarks/ should be declared a “crutch” and God forbid.
It depends on what the goal is, if you make changes to the Chrome URL page, then you can "patch" the browser, but this cannot be done directly with the extension, and in general this is problematic.
