Constraint and tab bar, am I doing it right?

Good afternoon! There is such a view - take.ms/fHbdm, I bind the text field and the button through vertical space to the bottom layout guide. I need the table to always be wide for all views and messages go under the input field.
When the keyboard appears, I change the constraint( vertical space) programmatically, is this the right decision, or should I implement it somehow differently? There is very little experience in developing for ios, so you need the opinion of experienced "how to do it right"

Yes, they do that ...
You can also make the input field in a table view cell (just special, of a different class), and you can increase the height of this cell when the keyboard appears and scroll the table view.
