Constant BSODS without loads or other reasons (at least I didn’t notice them) on Windows 10 Pro, how to treat?
Since about August, I have been constantly catching some kind of bsodes:
Of those that I caught before:
- ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
- IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
- MEMORY_MANAGMENT
Of those that I started catching today:
- REFERENCE_BY_POINTER
- KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
- KERNEL_SECURITY_HEAP_CORRUPTION
I will add that I have old errors what I caught before didn’t go away, it’s just that these three were added on top of me
. I can't remember absolutely every one. But these were the most common.
All of them are caused by some unknown ntoskrnl.exe .
I didn’t find the answer in Google, although, perhaps, I just don’t know how to google, I even googled in English, I saw this ntoskrnl.exe from someone, but nothing helped.
I even decided to update Windows (save me) to the latest version, some fake whistles were added, but errors still happen.
I ask those who know for help. If needed, here is the dump below:

Raise the memory voltage by 0.01-0.02 volts. If there was a memory overclock, then first you need to try to remove the overclock. Memory in an XMP profile may malfunction if unlucky with the kit.
Of all the stress tests, I recommend prime95 in the "Torture test" mode and drive at least 2-3 hours to make sure it works. No memtests, AIDs, osst and other tests revealed errors, and a couple of hours of prime95 gave one error. There were BSODs with the same messages, I sinned on everything from fresh firmware to overclocking the processor and video card drivers. No tests revealed anything, all kinds of osst were spinning for hours in all modes and nothing. prime95 ONLY gave an error in torture mode. Sometimes right away, sometimes after an hour or two. I tried everything, removed the overclocking of the processor and memory, reset the BIOS, etc. etc. BSOD even in XMP profile. As a result, I raised the voltage from 1.35 to 1.37 and the BSODs stopped, I stopped doing prime95 fela. This will not fundamentally affect the durability of the memory, I’ll rather assemble a new PC than the memory will degrade. Plus, it blows from the muzzle. It helped me, I advise you to try. By the way, after that I also stung the timings, relative to the XMP profile and did not BSODit.
It is worth trying to run Microsoft Fix it.
Or rollback to an earlier restore point (if any).
Or run System Restore from the installation disk.
Reinstall Windows. During installation, do not format the disk , this will save your files, documents, etc. (They will be saved in C:\Windows.old\).
