Console window size in guest OS in VirtualBox?

I use it as a local server for testing Debian developments, which is running in VirtualBox. It is clear that I do not start the graphical mode there, I work from under the console. But there is one inconvenience: a very small physical size of the console screen (approximately 700x420px). In the virtual OS settings, in the display section, you cannot set the resolution of the “virtual monitor” (there is simply no such setting).
Is there any other way to increase the console screen size in VirtualBox? Alternatively, of course, you can connect to a local server through Putty and simply increase the size of the Putty window, but maybe in VirtualBox you can somehow change the size?

Run the machine in the tray, and themselves through the putti. Here is a utility to put a virtual machine in the tray github.com/toptensoftware/VBoxHeadlessTray

Working through an ssh client is much more convenient.
