Connecting the site to the database on the client side, where to dig?

Good day to all.
There was a problem of this kind.
There is a web page, there are 2 databases, one on the server side, the second on the client side that opens the page in the browser.
It is necessary for the calculation to take part of the data from the database on the server and part of the data from the database on the client machine, of course, all superusers for connecting to the database are known.
I saw a similar implementation, but I did not come across this myself.
Please tell me where to dig? MB if anyone is well aware of the details.
Thank you very much in advance!

If the application will be executed on a client computer with access through a browser, then you can connect to any database. It all depends on the technologies used. For example RAD PHP, Delphi/Lazarus+Raudus
