Connecting a switch to a router?

Hello. There is a Mikrotik 2011 router. How to connect a switch to a router if 1 more small switch is connected to the switch in another room, the main one has 24 ports and everything is full. The load will be good. How to connect? 1 gigabit port of the router will withstand?

Are you asking us if a 1GE uplink is enough for 30 ports? How do we know what is connected there. Maybe there are half of the printers and IP phones, or maybe several conference rooms with FullHD broadcasts. Calculate how much traffic each device consumes. From my own experience, I can say that the average working PC selects no more than 15-20M traffic, printers and IP phones (if it's not KC)) can be neglected.
