Is this network design normal?
Hello community.
We have a locale in our organization, at one time made by an unknown person on the principle of "if only it worked", its basic design is below:
i33.fastpic.ru/big/2014/0410/1f/a7d0a3fe48112682e4...
I understand networks a little better than a little bit (well, I tuned the mikrotik that came to replace the dead zyxel, no more), but I would like to improve and secure the legacy economy (there is no one to do this except for me).
I sketched a new design, as I think it should be:
i59.fastpic.ru/big/2014/0410/bc/8fbf1a29b52d6b3a30...
Criticize, be kind. In case "everything is completely wrong", I will be grateful for the correct design.
Equipment:
- Mikrotik 951G-2HnD - 1 pc.
- 2nd router (Continent) - 1 pc
- D-Link DES-3810-28 - 1 pc
- D-Link DES-1210-52 - 2
pcs used, normal office, in a word)
1st port on all devices - managament vlan
Green links drew connections "questionable":
- should there be a link between two 1210-52 at all? for redundancy/aggregation or something else?
- I definitely refuse the link from the Continent, it will not be, I did not redraw it
