Hello. Is it possible to connect a Hitachi Ultrastar 7K6000 HUS726050AL5214 Sas hard drive to a SuperMicro X9DRL-3F motherboard without a cage?

Yes. Rip the backplane out of the basket, connect a hard drive to it, and you get a hard drive without a basket.
