Connected to the site via SSH, how to run the php file?

Connected to the site via SHH, now I need to run the file that is in the root. The php-cli or php file.php command does not start, writes not found.

What does not found write - the file was not found or the command was not found? most likely php-cli is not installed. And so Fandorin correctly suggests.
