Connect TP-Link router to D-Link DSL router via wifi?
Good afternoon.
There was such a task:
It is necessary to connect TP-Link TL-WR841ND to wifi, which distributes D-Link DSL-2640U . And distribute the Internet further via LAN \ WIFI with a tplink.
What can be done here?

It seems to me that you can’t use Wi-Fi alone and cling to the network and distribute the Internet. So pull the wire.
For distribution on the LAN, TPLink must have client mode in the Wi-Fi settings. Enter the SSID and password of the network formed by D-Link.
At the same time, it will most likely not work to distribute to the LAN and strengthen Wi-Fi.
there was a similar task - I installed the ddwrt firmware and already there in the settings I created a virtual and main network.
the virtual one is connected to the second one, and the main one distributes Wi-Fi already with me
WDS not working? It seems that DLink and TPlink have such a mode. In DLink, the “bridge” mode, or “bridge + AP” if he still distributes the network over the air.
