Connect python gtk application and facebook?

I wanted to try to create a small application on gtk with the ability to send messages to a facebook account. There was an authorization problem.
Facebook wants the user to be shown a page on which he would allow the application to access his profile. After googling, I came to the conclusion that you need to use the webkit gtk. Unfortunately, there is practically no documentation on it on the Internet. No matter how I struggled with this problem, nothing happened :(
Maybe someone has already encountered a similar problem and will tell me how to authorize a user on Facebook from a desktop application.
I know that this is implemented in gwibber, but everything is very complicated there. I would like simple examples to understand how to do it.
