Configure Cisco 2500 port
Good day
I must say right away that I know Cisco equipment, like other network equipment, very superficially, so don’t kick too hard
Now the essence of the problem.
There is a 2500 series wireless point controller with 4 Eth ports and 2 "dish" to it.
Both plates are connected to ports 3.4 (these are PoE ports), they see the controller, the controller sees them and everything works fine
, the Internet is plugged into the 1st port. The whole scheme works fine using a DHCP server that also comes with the Internet on the 1st port.
But for some reason, the entire network does NOT see the HP Printer that is plugged into the 2nd port. Moreover, even pings do not pass from the controller (they are in the same IP subnet).
There is an assumption that the port must somehow be forced to see the desired VLAN or something else so that traffic from the WiFi network gets to port 2. But how to do this, I’ll never know.
There is access to both Web and CLI interfaces of all the fun.
